Tessa was absolutely amazing to work with from the beginning to end of our process. We spoke to a few photographers while looking for the right fit and immediately after talking to Tessa knew she was it. She took the time to answer our questions beforehand and had personalized questionnaires to get to know what was important to us before our wedding day. We knew she was going to be great, but we didn't know how crucial Tessa would be for our day until it happened. Tessa was unbelievably flexible, she truly cared about capturing the parts of our wedding that were the most important to us. She arrived early, scoped out our venue for the best spaces, and even helped organize things in our schedule that we had missed because she recognized an in-the-moment need. She somehow managed to capture our ceremony from every angle and the pictures really tell the story of our wedding. We even had a few friends comment on how easy she was to talk to and how easily she fit into the crowd. We definitely recommend Folk + Wayfarer for your wedding photographer!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Tessa! From the very beginning - meeting us in downtown Asheville for our courthouse elopement - she was so warm, caring and incredibly patient. Tessa has a magical way of making you feel both comfortable and celebrated. She was so flexible and thoughtful throughout the entire experience, and truly felt like a friend by our side on such an important day. One of our favorite parts of the day was when she offered *so generously* to follow us to the NC State Fair after our ceremony. She captured the most beautiful, fun, joy-filled photos of us among the rides, games and colors - turkey leg and goldfish (who we named Tessa) included! All while eating cheese fries and sipping lemonade together. It was spontaneous, heartwarming, and honestly one of the best parts of our entire elopement.
